Wildflower Yoga

Ciao!

YOGA ▪ MOTHERHOOD ▪ LIFE ▪ HEALTH ▪ PLANT BASED EATING ▪ ANXIETY ▪  OPINION ▪ MARRIAGE

This is a collective space for everything in my life.  On the blog I share yoga tips, stories of love and optimism, healthy food options, ways to relax using art, and life as a twenty-something year old woman.  There are many benefits in the spiritual and physical practice of yoga, and I want to spread my love for the ancient tradition from the point of view of a young yoga teacher and new mother!

Yoga helps in expressing love, finding compassion, and has been a true gift to me in the last 14+ years.  Once I began a regular practice, I truly fell in love and noticed my heart and body opening.  In this practice, I also began loving myself, a concept I fought for many years.  I completed my 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training in November 2015.  In early 2017, I wrote and released Healing Yoga: Volume 1 to reach people who are curious about yoga and how it can heal the mind, body, and spirit.  As an electronic book, it is available to everyone, just like yoga is accepting to all types of people.  You can locate the link to purchase under the EBOOK tab.  Volume 2 is in the works and geared towards mommies and families.

Believing in True Love also heals.  Love that can and will conquer anything.  I have been given that Great Love from above, and have luckily found my earthly soulmate.  With all the darkness and hatred in the world, I am here to remind everyone that love exists.  There is hope, mercy, and there is always L O V E.

After studying abroad in Florence, Italy in the Spring of 2010, I feel like my heart opened in a different way.  Since returning to the U.S., I completed my degree at The University of Alabama and met the love of my life.

John is my soulmate, best friend, and other half and proposed to me in the most perfect way, in Florence, Italy overlooking my favorite city in the world.  My husband and I got married in April 2016.  In spring of 2017, we suddenly lost our baby black lab, Sarah Belle, who was almost 11 years young.  The following summer, I lost my family cocker spaniel, Henry almost as suddenly.  I share the hardships of these losses and how I try to get through the tough times.

John and I are welcomed our first child, Lucca Bennett on the 2nd of April, 2018!  We are so excited to bring our baby bear into the world and teach him about love, kindness, acceptance, yoga, music, and love him unconditionally.  We adore parenthood, all the hardships and all the sweet joyfulness.

We currently live in Gadsden, Alabama with our calico cat, Luna Mango, adopted puppy, Lizzie, and rescued cat Leroy!

I look forward to sharing my life and all this love, compassion, and imperfection with you!

Namaste,

XOXXO
